What we collect
- Your email (required) and name (optional), when you join the waitlist.
- Analytics identifiers (Google Analytics 4) — only if you accept analytics.
- Your consent choice and, as proof of it, the time, an anonymous identifier, and your IP address.
Why we collect it
To send you one launch update when Ethan is ready, and to measure interest (visit → signup). Nothing else. No selling, no ad targeting.
Lawful basis
Consent — your act of submitting the form, together with the consent statement shown beside it. Analytics runs only after you accept.
Who processes it
Your signup is stored in Google Cloud Firestore; analytics is processed by Google Analytics (both Firebase, project ai-companion-d84de). At launch, your email may be exported to an email tool to send the one update.
Retention
Until launch, then deleted — or sooner if you ask us to erase it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time, and you can change your analytics choice from the footer (“Cookie choices”). Email unsubscribe arrives with the launch email itself.
